Lead CNC Programmer - Broach/Repair

GE Vernova•Greenville, NC

About The Position

The Lead CNC Programmer provides programming support across factory components, processes, and machines. The role generates and maintains CNC programs using NX-CAM or other software, potentially for multi-axis milling, turning, grinding, and EDM, and verifies new programs with Vericut before shop-floor release. It supports Manufacturing Engineering and shop-floor operators through troubleshooting, training, and process improvement, and supports tooling, fixturing, workstation instructions, and the implementation and expansion of CNC/CAM technology. The role develops, tests, and optimizes CNC programs for a Hoffmann RASMX 8-axis broaching machine using SIEMENS SINUMERIK ONE controls. It also maintains programs for existing horizontal legacy broaches, primarily using FANUC controls and complex macro variables. The Lead CNC Programmer trains other programmers as needed and leads process improvement efforts focused on safety, quality, cost, and delivery. This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Any applicable final offer is contingent on obtaining U.S. Government authorization for access. GE Vernova will employ only candidates legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Offers are conditioned on successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable.
