About The Position

Hamilton House Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is seeking a Lead HHA/CNA to join their team. Hamilton House Senior Living, which opened in 2019, is located in Cedarburg, WI, and offers Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services in a 111-unit, apartment-style community. The community encourages a "work hard and play hard" environment with amenities like a putting green and bocce ball court. This role involves providing personal care services to residents, mentoring and training new employees, and assisting with medication administration.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience working as a HHA or CNA.
Interest in training and mentoring new employees.
Strong interest in healthcare.
Positive, compassionate attitude.
Strong customer service and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in an assisted living community is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care to all genders of residents, recognizing individual needs, encouraging independence, and treating each resident with respect and dignity.
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, mobility, and other personal care needs as described on the plan of care.
Provide support to employees by mentoring and training new employees, coordinating and communicating employee break times, and assisting with staffing and scheduling.
Engage residents in meaningful conversations and provide attentive care.
Assist with medication administration.
