About The Position

Drive revenue growth by strategically managing client relationships, generating new and existing sales, and delivering AT&T products, services, and/or solutions to address customers’ strategic business priorities. This is a senior-level sales representative role with an advanced understanding of sales principles, practices, products, and services. The role manages large, complex sales with light supervision and is responsible for a higher-than-average sales quota or territory. It requires effective communication, advanced data analysis, leveraging extensive experience, and problem-solving skills. The role may also involve introducing new products, leading training, and mentoring colleagues. Duties directly related to making sales include meeting with customers and engaging in sales activities at customer sites, communicating with customers via phone, teleconference, e-mail, etc. related to proposed solutions/sales, traveling to/from the customer premise for sales activities, providing subject matter expertise on technical sales issues, advising customers on the suitability of products based on technical needs, preparing proposals/presentations/bids, including developing pricing/strategic plans and proposed solutions/sales, and researching/developing solutions with AT&T external partners, including design/engineering. Responsibilities

  • Identify, build, and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Understand client needs and utilize consultative skills to close sales, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Deliver tailored presentations.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to generate new opportunities and expand/retain existing accounts, meeting, or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and industry developments to identify sales opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • May develop and submit detailed responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring alignment with client needs and company capabilities.
  • May support resolution of customer disputes and accounts discrepancies, providing effective solutions to billing, installation, and other customer issues.
  • Collaborate with team from assigned office location when not in the field.
  • Conduct customer visits in the field.
