Lead Cleaner
About The Position
The Lead Cleaner ensures facility operations follow established policies and procedures. The role coordinates daily operations by delegating assignments, guiding team members, and providing supervision at an assigned location when the Manager is absent. The Lead Cleaner demonstrates established standards to keep facilities clean and safe for workers and customers. The role also involves operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and assisting with general janitorial duties as needed. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The listed pay rate is $20.50 per hour; the specific offer may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Nice To Haves
- One year of similar work experience.
- One year of customer service experience.
- One year of lead or supervisory experience.
- Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Complete any additional certifications or training required by the site type.
- Follow assigned work schedules and route cards, and report barriers.
- Provide leadership and direction to team members.
- Maintain open communication between field employees and management, and monitor and document client communications.
- Assist with creating daily and weekly work schedules.
- Oversee and perform cleaning operations in the assigned building.
- Maintain keys and access cards for the property.
- Report damaged, broken, or nonfunctional features and items.
- Oversee and perform additional service requests (tag jobs) in the assigned building.
- Oversee work quality and confirm completion with the Area Manager.
- Train new hires assigned to the building in accordance with onboarding procedures.
- Complete and validate time records for regular or subcontractor employees.
- Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
