About The Position

The Lead Cleaner ensures facility operations follow established policies and procedures. The Lead coordinates daily operations by delegating assignments and guiding team members, and provides supervision at an assigned location when the Manager is absent. The role demonstrates cleaning and safety standards for buildings and facilities and includes operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and assisting with general janitorial duties as needed. The schedule is 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM, with Sunday and Monday off. The hourly pay range is $23–$25; an offer may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market alignment. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Complete any additional certifications or training required by the site type.
Follow assigned work schedules and route cards, and report barriers.
Provide leadership and direction to team members.
Maintain open communication between field employees and management, and monitor and document client communications.
Assist with preparing daily and weekly work schedules.
Oversee and perform cleaning operations in the assigned building.
Manage keys and access cards for the property.
Report damaged, broken, or nonfunctional features and items.
Oversee and perform additional service requests in the assigned building.
Oversee job quality and confirm completion with the Area Manager.
Train new hires assigned to the building in accordance with onboarding procedures.
Complete and validate time records for regular or subcontractor employees.
Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
