Requirements
- Proficient knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care.
- Familiarity with basic life support techniques.
- Strong understanding of medical administrative support tasks including appointment scheduling and insurance verification.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in orthopedics preferred.
- Knowledge of orthopedic/musculoskeletal care principles is a plus, along with any relevant certifications or training in specialized areas of medicine.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs and performing intake assessments.
- Administer medications as prescribed and assist with procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records using EHR systems, ensuring compliance with medical terminology and coding standards such as ICD coding.
- Support physicians in the outpatient orthopedic clinic.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medication administration, and follow-up care instructions.
