About The Position

We are hiring immediately and offering the following: Shift: 1st Shift Full-time - 5am start time Schedule: Tuesday-Friday (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off) Local Deliveries - Home Every Night Prior touch freight experience is required Pay: Starting at $32 per hour Off on Major Holidays (8 Total) Must be 21 Year of Age Must have Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (At least 1yr experience required)

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a commitment to professional growth and safety.
  • 1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
  • Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Nice To Haves

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Significant experience in touch freight and high-volume delivery operations.
  • Proven ability to train, mentor, and communicate effectively with a diverse team.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary Field Trainer, onboarding and coaching new drivers to ensure high performance and safety standards.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of daily loads while maintaining strict compliance with ABC and DOT regulations.
  • Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with key customer accounts to ensure service excellence.
  • Serve as a frontline resource for the delivery team, providing guidance and conflict resolution when the Supervisor is off-site.
  • Lead the department’s safety culture by conducting rigorous pre-trip inspections and enforcing company-wide safety protocols.
  • Supports the facilities’ supervisors with leading and coaching of delivery team members by facilitating individual and/or group training while also assisting the delivery team with technical equipment.
  • Responsible for unloading and delivering products to our customers as well as pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle.
  • Ability to safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle including conveyors and carts.
  • Securely operate powered industrial trucks and/or material handling equipment such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck.
  • Pick up returned products including payments and pallets as well as completing delivery and pick up paperwork.
  • Other duties as assigned.
