About The Position

At Montage Palmetto Bluff, we are looking for a Lead Food & Beverage Cashier for Melt. This role involves assisting with leading the team, training new associates, and supporting daily operations. You will be responsible for preparing food and beverage orders to specified standards, providing professional, friendly, and timely service to guests. Maintaining the cleanliness of equipment, counters, and prep areas, participating in ongoing service training, and conducting daily/weekly inventory of ice cream, toppings, beverages, retail, and supplies are key aspects of this position. You will also coordinate product implementation and reordering, ensure safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service, and cleanup, and meticulously maintain all areas of the Outlet to ensure Montage standards. Delivering on guest expectations and creating 'WOW' moments is essential. Additional duties may be assigned based on business needs.

Requirements

Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Ability to collaborate in a team environment
Previous food handling experience, preferably in a Bistro, Café or Ice Cream Shop setting.
Basic computer, cash handling and POS skills
Knowledge of Micros is preferred
Grasping, holding, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending over
Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods of time during your scheduled shift
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift
Ability to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi-regular basis

Responsibilities

Assist with leading the team, training new associates and supporting the day-to-day operations
Prepare all food & beverage orders to the specified standards; providing guests with professional, friendly, and timely service
Maintain the cleanliness of the equipment, counter, prep, participating in ongoing service training of standards
Provide a daily/weekly inventory of ice cream, toppings, beverages, retail and supplies
Coordinate product implementation and reordering
Ability to properly handle food, ensure safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up.
Cleans and meticulously maintain all areas of Outlet to ensure Montage standards and expectations.
Deliver on guests’ expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments
Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties, based on business needs stocking and menu knowledge
