About The Position

House Doctors St. Peters, MO is seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to join their team. We handle everything from small repairs to full remodel projects, prioritizing professionalism, craftsmanship, customer service and safety on every job.

Requirements

  • 7 to 10+ years residential construction/remodeling experience
  • Multi-trade expertise in some of the following (carpentry, drywall, flooring, tile, painting, light electrical/plumbing, siding, full remodel projects, commercial build-out)
  • Proven leadership and project management abilities
  • Track record of delivering projects on time, on budget, with top quality
  • Professional attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to learn and operate some basic computer programs and systems
  • Follow company processes and procedures
  • Perform physical labor work including bending, lifting (50+ lbs), work on ladders and handling tools
  • Valid driver's license is required
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Effectively lead on-site crews on residential and commercial remodeling projects
  • Accurately estimate efforts for job tasks
  • Manage project timelines to ensure on-time and on-budget job completion
  • Accurately manage job materials
  • Consistently meet quality standards and deliver exceptional customer experience
  • Effectively communicate project updates to clients, office staff and management team
  • Ensure clean, organized and safe job-sites, company vehicles, and workshop
  • Complete carpentry, framing, and finish work
  • Install flooring, tile, cabinets, doors, and trim
  • Perform light electrical, plumbing, drywall, and painting jobs
  • Handle exterior repairs including decks, fences, siding, and posts
  • Lead full bathroom, kitchen, and basement remodels
  • Cross-train on new technical skills
  • Help, coach and mentor other team members
  • Represent House Doctors professionally
  • Participate in ongoing career development
