Requirements

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Minimum one (1) year experience with senior adults.
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Must possess current Medication Training certification.
• Must be in good standing with the state licensing or certifying agency.
• Certification in CPR and first aid required.
• Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
• Adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems a plus.
• Teamwork and good listening skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assume basic responsibilities of the Resident Services Director (RSD) and Assistant Resident Services Director (ARSD) in their absence.
• Provide overall guidance and supervision of Care Staff.
• Handle scheduling and call-offs.
• Ensure documentation compliance.
• Coordinate with outside medical personnel.
• Check flow sheets.
• Act as shift supervisor in the absence of the Resident Services Director.
• Monitor compliance with Care Staff procedures to assure high quality levels of service to residents.
• Schedule associates in conjunction with the RSD.
• Follow normal Care Staff responsibilities along with fellow coworkers.
• Assist with and/or complete Medication Assistant responsibilities as needed.
• Take all call-offs during the assigned shift and find appropriate coverage.
• Ensure that all documentation is correct and complete prior to the end of the assigned shift.
• Monitor apartments for clutter and safety issues.
• Work with other departments to assure the Community and apartments are presentable for tours.
• Train and advise Care Staff as directed by the RSD/ARSD.
• Other duties as assigned.
