About The Position

We’re seeking a strong leader to join our Care Team as a Supervisor in Charge for 1st Shift! This role involves assuming the responsibilities of the Resident Services Director (RSD) and Assistant Resident Services Director (ARSD) in their absence. The ideal candidate is passionate about senior living, enjoys leading by example, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Minimum one (1) year of experience with senior adults.
Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Must possess current Medication Training certification.
Must be in good standing with the state licensing or certifying agency.
Certification in CPR and first aid required.
Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
Adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems is a plus.
Teamwork and good listening skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Act as shift supervisor in the absence of the Resident Services Director.
Monitor compliance with Care Staff procedures to ensure high-quality resident services.
Schedule associates in conjunction with the RSD.
Perform standard Care Staff responsibilities alongside coworkers.
Assist with and/or complete Medication Assistant responsibilities as needed.
Handle all call-offs during the assigned shift and find appropriate coverage.
Ensure all documentation is correct and complete before the end of the assigned shift.
Monitor apartments for clutter and safety issues.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure the Community and apartments are presentable for tours.
Train and advise Care Staff as directed by the RSD/ARSD.
Perform other duties as assigned.
