About The Position

Home Instead is seeking experienced caregivers who are motivated to increase their impact through leadership, consistency, and outstanding client care. As a Lead Care Professional, you will contribute to stability for clients, families, and fellow Care Professionals by supporting new client 'Starts of Care,' managing caregiver transitions, and ensuring high-quality client experiences, all while continuing to provide direct care. We are looking for individuals who are dependable, adaptable, encouraging, and dedicated to providing excellent care.

Requirements

• 2+ years of caregiving experience preferred.
• Dementia/Alzheimer’s experience preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Dependable, professional, and solutions-focused.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional non-medical care and companionship.
• Support new client Starts of Care.
• Help stabilize higher-need client situations.
• Assist with caregiver transitions and shadow shifts.
• Mentor and support fellow Care Professionals.
• Communicate with Scheduling, HR, and Client Care teams.
• Build strong relationships with clients and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation and professionalism.
