About The Position

Jahnel Group is seeking an experienced Lead Business Systems Analyst to join their team and lead business analysis across a portfolio of Salesforce initiatives. This is a highly collaborative, customer-facing role where you will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, internal application teams, implementation partners, and technical delivery teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong Salesforce expertise and the ability to think beyond requirements gathering, challenging assumptions, evaluating solution options, and identifying opportunities to simplify and improve business processes. The goal is to ensure Salesforce solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with long-term business objectives.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience, with flexibility for candidates who bring strong relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working directly with Salesforce.
  • Proven experience leading business analysis across multiple concurrent Salesforce projects.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and Sales Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce declarative configuration, including Flow, permission sets, reports, dashboards, and page layouts.
  • Experience partnering with external systems integrators or implementation partners through discovery, design, build, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
  • Strong experience with integrations, data migration, data mapping, data quality, data governance, and enterprise application ecosystems.
  • Strong experience gathering and translating complex business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to challenge requirements and solution approaches constructively.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud implementation or support experience is a plus.
  • Salesforce Data Cloud (Data360) experience, including customer data management and activation strategies, is a plus.
  • Salesforce Field Service experience is a plus.
  • Experience supporting licensing, contract management, retail operations, or CRM transformation initiatives is a plus.
  • Exposure to CPQ, Revenue Cloud, or related quote-to-cash processes is a plus.
  • Experience evaluating Salesforce AI capabilities from both a business and financial perspective is a plus.
  • Experience working within both a consulting/system integrator environment and an internal business applications organization is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business analysis activities across multiple Salesforce projects and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder alignment meetings.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, solution architects, technical teams, and implementation partners to understand business needs and define effective solutions.
  • Document current-state and future-state business processes.
  • Develop detailed business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process documentation, and requirements traceability.
  • Challenge existing processes and requirements to identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate.
  • Partner with architects and delivery teams to evaluate solution options, balancing business value, technical complexity, scalability, and supportability.
  • Promote a configuration-first approach by leveraging standard Salesforce capabilities before recommending custom development.
  • Assess the business impact, operational benefits, and total cost of ownership of proposed solutions.
  • Support Salesforce implementations across discovery, design, build, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
  • Validate solution designs and prototypes using Salesforce declarative capabilities including Flow, reports, dashboards, page layouts, and security controls.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect triage, and deployment readiness activities.
  • Ensure requirements, process documentation, and solution artifacts are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Partner with integration and data teams on system interfaces, data migrations, data quality, data mapping, and data governance.
  • Support Salesforce Data Cloud (Data360) initiatives, including customer data unification, segmentation, activation, and data governance.
  • Evaluate Salesforce AI capabilities, including Einstein and Agentforce, and help identify practical use cases that can improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.
  • Develop business cases and recommendations for Salesforce AI initiatives by considering business value, licensing costs, consumption costs, ROI, and organizational readiness.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to prioritize Salesforce capabilities and investments based on business objectives.
  • Communicate requirements, risks, scope changes, dependencies, and potential impacts across stakeholders and delivery teams.

Benefits

  • The work hours will be approximately 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST depending on workload, with occasional flexibility required to support business-critical initiatives.
  • Compensation is dependent upon experience, qualifications, and location.
