About The Position

The Lead Business Partner Site Merchandising Enablement role drives the strategy, operations, and refinement of capabilities and digital merchandising processes. This role aims to deliver efficiency for internal Team Members and brand-right experiences for guests. The position involves leading and managing transformation with Category and Cross-Category Digital Merchandising teams to achieve best-in-class status, ensuring Digital Merchandising teams have the necessary resources to be effective and efficient. Key activities include developing and aligning on tooling and data requirements to support Digital Merchandising experience levers, and co-creating and optimizing solutions with various partner teams such as Digital Merchandising, Digital Product, Data Sciences, UX, Tech, Experience Design, QA, and Target Creative. This role requires a creative problem solver focused on collaborative decision-making and robust change management. Core responsibilities include establishing strong cross-functional and cross-channel partnerships, influencing other teams to advance digital objectives, promoting Target behaviors, championing diversity and inclusion, and fostering teamwork, collaboration, agility, attention to detail, and drive. The role serves as a business and operational Digital Merchandising conduit to applicable stakeholders and partners. It also involves building relationships and routines for a feedback loop with stakeholders to understand gaps, challenges, and opportunities in tooling and processes, and cross-sharing progress. Prioritizing enhancements that improve the guest and Team Member experience across web and app, and defining Digital Merchandising use cases and impact are also key. The role requires distilling complex objectives into digestible problems to solve, leveraging user feedback, research, and networks to drive innovation, and piloting/scaling core capabilities. Championing change management best practices, defining scalable business processes, driving program management of key initiatives, and providing timely, flexible, and personalized training and support are essential. Budget management may also be required depending on project scope. Core responsibilities are subject to change based on business needs.

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years e-commerce experience
  • Site merchandising strategy & planning experience
  • Superb communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to varying levels of leadership
  • Strong project management skills

  • Demonstrated experience in cross-functional influence across planning and execution

Responsibilities

  • Drive program management of key process, technology and data initiatives: activate CFTs, develop timing & action, track progress, risks & dependencies.
  • Lead UAT testing, measurement, and learning plans.
  • Meet users where they are by offering training and support resources that are timely, flexible, and personalized to current and future needs.
