About The Position

Responsible for the business and financial support related to LyondellBasell’s Circular and Low Carbon Solutions businesses in the USCAN region. Supports the business management and provide insightful analysis on the business performance and outlook. Further the Lead Business Finance Analyst ensures the reporting is reliable and information is accurate to maximize financial business performance and partners with the commercial and operating teams to derive shareholder value.

Requirements

  • Accounting or Finance degree or related business degree with typically 5+ year’s relevant financial experience.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize, including responding to numerous requests from multiple stakeholders for financial analysis and commentary.

Responsibilities

  • Own financial support for Recover NA, providing insight on performance, outlook, and risks.
  • Deliver monthly reporting and variance analysis (actuals vs. forecast, budget, and prior year), including fixed costs and capital project reporting.
  • Maintain and enhance rolling P&L, inventory, cost, and headcount forecasts; lead the Annual Performance Plan and ensure alignment of key assumptions.
  • Develop and maintain cost models; monitor cost trends, deviations, and ensure accurate cost allocation to P&L.
  • Build and maintain fixed-cost master data across OneStream, S4, and PRD; partner closely with Master Data teams to ensure data integrity.
  • Produce and maintain SG&A and manufacturing dashboards; identify risks, trends, and corrective actions.
  • Act as a strategic finance partner to business and marketing leaders; ensure compliance with accounting policies, DOA, and company standards; collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, FP&A, Accounting, Procurement, and HR.
  • Develop and maintain WBS/CBS budgets and cost baselines; track commitments, accruals, invoices/POs; reconcile accounts and ensure financial governance.
  • Produce monthly reports and dashboards, perform variance/KPI analysis, update EAC and cash‑flow forecasts, quantify change‑order impacts, and collaborate with planning, procurement, finance, and PM teams.
  • Ensure accurate end-to-end invoicing and pricing and manage charge-out processes, including leases and seconded personnel.
