About The Position

We are seeking a Finance Business Analyst with a Capital Market focus to join our team. In this role, you will engage and partner with QTS application teams moving onto the Aperture platform to understand their analytical use-cases and business goals, confirming product fit. You will facilitate information gathering sessions, document requirements, business use cases, feasibility analysis, and cross-functional diagrams. Additionally, you will partner with platform engineering teams to ensure technical capabilities and data requirements are understood, identify dependencies and integration points, and work with senior stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure system specifications meet business expectations.

Requirements

Strong business domain understanding of Financial Services/ Capital Markets.
Excellent data analysis skills.
Solid background dealing with complex software products (preferably cloud/ data analytics focused).
Ability to work independently, apply critical and strategic thinking to issues, and manage deadlines while multi-tasking amongst different priorities.
5+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst with progressively increasing responsibilities in the areas of requirements management on large and complex projects.
Proven experience with various project delivery methodologies such as Waterfall, Iterative and/or Agile.
Experience in requirements planning and prioritization including stakeholder analysis and effort estimation.
Data analysis expertise (e.g., using SQL, Tableau, or Python).

Responsibilities

Engage and partner with QTS application teams moving onto the Aperture platform to understand their analytical use-cases/ business goals and confirm product fit.
Facilitate information gathering sessions including leading discussions, managing group dynamics, and maintaining group focus, to work towards accomplishing the stated goal(s) of the session within the context of the project objectives.
Gather requirements and document them, along with business use cases, feasibility analysis and cross functional diagrams as needed.
Partner with the platform engineering teams to ensure technical capabilities and data requirements are well understood, identify dependencies and integration points.
Work with senior stakeholders to validate their requirements and analysis via techniques such as reviews and walkthroughs and ensure system specifications meet the business stakeholders’ expectations/requirements, and negotiate solutions when appropriate.
Analyze incoming data sets and develop detailed requirements around sourcing solutions, identify provisioning requirements, data transformations etc.
Decipher compliance, information security guidelines and apply them in the context of the datasets/ business requirements.
Identify data accuracy requirements, solution options and remediation plans in case of a breach.
