About The Position

The Lead Business Analyst will facilitate the elicitation of business and systems requirements, utilizing a comprehensive understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. This role provides leadership to analyze business unit requests and understand business requirements. The Lead Business Analyst will work with various technical staff members to determine possible solutions and communicate business and system impacts to IT and Operations staff. This role also conducts business process analysis and needs assessments in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives, assists in coordinating requirements within software package development, prepares decision-making documentation for potential new product development approaches, and uses Business Process Modeling techniques and tools to create business process models.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the insurance domain.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Good understanding of data schema concepts on Oracle and DB2.
• Good understanding of JavaScript and web services.
• SQL
• DB2
• Business Process Modeling
• Reporting against DB2 and Oracle databases via SQL tools.
