About The Position

The Lead Business Analyst will help define product strategy deliverables, design strategic end-to-end solutions, lead project requirements through the software development lifecycle, and assist with implementing enhancements to meet Investment Accounting platform objectives. The role works with stakeholders across Product, Technology, Operations, and Client teams to bring product enhancements and services to a client-ready state. Within State Street Alpha Services, the role contributes to Investment Accounting platform product initiatives. It requires strong Investment Accounting and IBOR domain knowledge, requirements definition and solution design expertise, and experience managing project delivery through the development lifecycle. The position also contributes to the strategic product roadmap using client requests, partner feedback, and market trend analysis, and assists with adopting AI processes to improve product management and delivery. The position offers an annual salary range of $115,000–$205,000. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or information systems.
At least 15 years of financial services experience, including practical application in product management and development.
Demonstrated product management, business analysis, or relevant operations experience as part of product development initiatives.
Investment Accounting subject matter expertise in one or more disciplines: accounting, security valuation, cash management, or corporate actions/income.
Comfort presenting to and interacting with key stakeholders, including clients.
Strong communication, interpersonal, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple organizations and stakeholder groups to reach common goals.
Organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Deep domain expertise, strong business analysis and analytical/problem-solving skills, and business/industry knowledge.
Practical experience with Agile/SDLC development.
Demonstrated teamwork and leadership, an ownership mindset, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manage and lead requirements definition and solution design for strategic product development initiatives within the Investment Accounting platform.
Ensure requirements and design solutions are well considered at both component and end-to-end levels and are effectively documented.
Build consensus among Product, IT, Operations, and Client stakeholders on end-to-end solution designs and requirements.
Drive product enhancement delivery throughout the development lifecycle to meet timeline and cost commitments.
Use business judgment to surface impediments and issues and provide practical, high-impact options to resolve them.
Use client requests, partner feedback, and market trend analysis to contribute to the strategic product roadmap.
Assist with adopting AI processes to improve product management functions and delivery.
