Lead Business Analyst – P&C Insurance Policy Administration

This role is part of the implementation services team, helping insurance organizations modernize policy administration through Majesco Policy implementations. The Lead Business Analyst will lead requirements and analysis for P&C policy administration workstreams, partnering with stakeholders, product teams, and technical delivery teams to translate complex business needs into executable solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience, including experience within Property & Casualty insurance.
- Strong understanding of P&C insurance processes, including policy administration, rating, and underwriting.
- Hands-on experience with policy administration platforms; Majesco experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting insurance software implementations, system modernization, or transformation programs.
- Ability to translate complex business processes into clear functional and system requirements.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and tools such as JIRA.
- Experience supporting SIT and UAT and working closely with business and technical teams through implementation.
- Strong analytical, facilitation, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and drive requirements to resolution.

- Experience with ISO and/or NCCI circulars, regulatory updates, or insurance product changes.
- Experience translating ISO/NCCI changes into business, functional, or system requirements.
- Experience with Majesco Policy implementations within commercial or personal lines P&C environments.
Responsibilities
- Own business analysis activities for assigned implementation workstreams and create the clarity teams need to move from requirements to delivery.
- Lead requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and validation for P&C policy administration implementations.
- Translate business needs into user stories, functional requirements, workflows, and clear acceptance criteria.
- Partner with business, product, and technical teams to define practical policy administration solutions.
- Support Majesco Policy implementation and configuration across policy lifecycle, rating, underwriting, and policy processing workflows.
- Manage and refine Agile backlogs to keep requirements clear, prioritized, and ready for development.
- Conduct impact analysis and maintain traceability across requirements, testing, and implementation.
- Define test scenarios and support system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Facilitate working sessions that align stakeholders on requirements, priorities, dependencies, and decisions.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce rework, and improve implementation outcomes.
