Requirements

  • Minimum 4–5 years of high-volume, craft cocktail bartending experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Advanced knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, flavor balancing, and seasonal menu development
  • Proficient in house-made ingredients , including syrups, shrubs, infusions, and tinctures
  • Skilled in clarification techniques (e.g., milk clarification, agar clarification, centrifuge methods) to produce refined, consistent cocktails
  • Strong understanding of spirits, wine, and beer, with the ability to educate staff and guests
  • Experience with inventory management, ordering, and beverage cost control
  • Ability to create and maintain pars, prep lists, and standardized recipes for consistency and efficiency
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor, and develop bartenders and barbacks
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards behind the bar
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent guest engagement and hospitality mindset, with a focus on elevated service standards
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Previous service experience an asset
  • Previous point of sale system experience an asset, but not required
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Assist guests regarding all beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way
  • Craft one-of-kind and cocktails and assist with seasonal menus
  • Implement new, sustainable ingredients and new techniques
  • Beverage training development and batching
  • Mix drinks and control the beverage stock as per guidelines
  • Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions
  • Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
  • Have full knowledge of hotel bar program
  • Follow outlet policies, procedures, and service standards
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
  • Other duties as assigned.
