Our client, a leading managed services provider in the Audiovisual, Conferencing and Collaboration sector, is currently hiring a Lead Audiovisual Technician to support their growing Government and military project workload. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role, from install through final commissioning and support. You'll own the setup, configuration, service, and troubleshooting of modern audio, video, and conferencing systems, plus the network gear and collaboration tools that support them. In addition, you'll act as the lead on-site professional, guiding field teams and keeping quality high on every job. If you enjoy complex builds, clear drawings, and high standards, you'll fit in well. This role is a strong match for someone who understands low-voltage wiring, electronics, architectural plans, and AV-over-IP, and who takes pride in high performance work and exceptional client outcomes. Travel to Client Sites: Includes final install, final commissioning, support and handoff at client locations, mainly (but NOT limited to) firm's customers in the DMV region. Candidates MUST be available for occasional CONUS/ OCONUS travel. Ability to obtain DoD Secret Level Security Clearance is MANDATORY. Strong preference for candidates currently holding a DoD Secret or TS/ SCI clearance. This role is NOT a WFH, Remote or Hybrid role. Regular On-Site presence at client sites to complete systems installation, commissioning, final checklist and full client sign-off. Strong preference for candidates located with a reasonable commute to the Virginia - Maryland - Wash., DC beltway region (aka “DMV”). Candidates located in the Charleston, SC or Savannah, GA will also be considered.
