About The Position

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Five years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Proven ability to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain manufacturing or prototype equipment
Strong leadership and team coordination skills
Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication abilities
Able to perform physical tasks (lifting, standing, fine motor assembly)

Nice To Haves

Experience in regulated manufacturing (medical devices preferred)
Background in process improvement initiatives
Familiarity with manufacturing quality systems and documentation standards
Prior experience in training or mentoring teams

Responsibilities

Provide daily leadership, mentorship, and technical direction to assembly personnel
Coordinate and prioritize assembly schedules, resources, and activities in alignment with engineering objectives
Train and support assemblers to uphold best practices, safety, and quality standards
Oversee equipment setup, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and process programming
Ensure timely completion of engineering builds and accurate, compliant documentation
Monitor product quality, perform inspections, and escalate issues as needed
Communicate delays, shortages, and equipment concerns to engineers
Collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to support development and process improvements
Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready lab workspace
