About The Position

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Five years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain manufacturing or prototype equipment
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  • Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication abilities
  • Able to perform physical tasks (lifting, standing, fine motor assembly)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in regulated manufacturing (medical devices preferred)
  • Background in process improvement initiatives
  • Familiarity with manufacturing quality systems and documentation standards
  • Prior experience in training or mentoring teams

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily leadership, mentorship, and technical direction to assembly personnel
  • Coordinate and prioritize assembly schedules, resources, and activities in alignment with engineering objectives
  • Train and support assemblers to uphold best practices, safety, and quality standards
  • Oversee equipment setup, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and process programming
  • Ensure timely completion of engineering builds and accurate, compliant documentation
  • Monitor product quality, perform inspections, and escalate issues as needed
  • Communicate delays, shortages, and equipment concerns to engineers
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to support development and process improvements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready lab workspace
