The Lead Applications Analyst serves as a senior technical and functional expert responsible for the design, optimization, and ongoing support of enterprise platforms, with a focus on Workday and UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM). This role leads application initiatives that drive operational efficiency, standardization, and continuous improvement across HR, Finance, Payroll, and Workforce Management domains. Acting as both a project lead and operational leader, the Lead Applications Analyst oversees day-to-day application support, manages prioritized work intake, and ensures the successful delivery of enhancements, integrations, and issue resolution. This role leads solution design, configuration, and deployment activities while maintaining alignment with organizational governance, security, and data integrity standards. The Lead Applications Analyst mentors and develops team members, fosters a culture of accountability and continuous learning, and serves as an escalation point for complex system and process issues. The role requires strong collaboration with business stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional IT teams to translate business needs into scalable, sustainable system solutions. This role operates in a hybrid/on-site model and plays a critical role in ensuring enterprise platforms deliver measurable value, support workforce productivity, and enable strategic organizational priorities.
