About The Position

This role is responsible for developing and executing XPO’s social media strategy across various platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and X. The Lead Analyst will build channel-specific strategies aligned with business priorities, audience behaviors, and platform best practices. They will create social media roadmaps, editorial calendars, and campaign plans, identifying opportunities to elevate XPO’s brand, frontline culture, operational expertise, and executive thought leadership. The position requires monitoring social trends and emerging formats to continuously evolve strategy, balancing long-term planning with day-to-day content creation. The role also involves personally conceptualizing, capturing, and editing social-first video, photography, and graphics, finding and capturing stories from XPO service centers, drivers, frontline employees, and operational leaders, and transforming complex transportation and logistics topics into engaging social content. Collaboration across the business is key to bringing customer, employee, recruiting, event, and executive stories to life. The Lead Analyst will oversee publishing, scheduling, and community management, engaging with audiences in a timely, professional, and brand-appropriate manner, ensuring content aligns with brand standards, legal guidelines, and company messaging. They will manage content planning, approval, and production processes, adapting content and messaging to each platform while maintaining a consistent brand voice. Performance tracking across channels, campaigns, and content formats is crucial, with a focus on turning analytics into recommendations that improve engagement, reach, and business impact. Reporting on KPIs, trends, audience growth, and content performance, and using performance data to continuously optimize content and channel strategy are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 4+ years of progressive social media experience, including recent ownership of corporate social channels
  • Proven success growing social channels with measurable results across engagement, audience growth or other KPIs
  • Hands-on experience concepting, capturing and editing social-first content, including short-form video, photography and graphics
  • Experience owning social end-to-end: strategy, content planning, creation, publishing, community management and analytics
  • Comfort working as a hands-on individual contributor, owning both strategy and execution
  • Strong writing, editorial judgment and ability to use performance data to optimize content
  • Experience partnering with executives and cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut or Canva and social platforms such as Sprout or Hootsuite
  • Willingness to travel to XPO locations and events to identify stories and capture content

  • Experience in B2B, transportation, logistics, manufacturing, industrial, automotive or another operational industry
  • Experience making complex or technical topics engaging on social
  • Experience with paid social, social listening or influencer campaigns
  • Portfolio or examples of social-first content personally created or produced
