About The Position

This is an opportunity to join the Distribution Analytics team. Our team provides strategic support for Mass Markets distribution, including forward looking channel modeling, near term channel optimization, and long-term planning and volume management. This role will support the analysis of retail and non-retail portfolio assets. Experience in GIS platforms and strong financial acumen preferred. AT&T WIRELESS IS THE PLACE TO BE. DO YOU WANT IN? Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in business, marketing or finance with a proven track record in managing complex data projects and teams.
  • Strong hands‑on command of data and advanced SQL skills.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with AI techniques.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, Python, Tableau, and PowerBI.
  • Experience in developing and managing forecasting models, including time series analysis and regression models.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and VBA scripting.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and develop actionable insights.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities with a keen understanding of marketplace and consumer dynamics.
  • Excellent strategic skills for driving data-driven approaches and constructing leadership reviews.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for presenting complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience to guide and mentor junior team members.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to articulate strategy concisely and effectively.
  • Experience with GIS, Mapping Platforms and Spatial Analytics
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired from an accredited University in a Quantitative field of study such as Data Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering or Physics.
  • 6+ years of related experience.
  • Certification is required in some areas.

  • Experience in GIS platforms and strong financial acumen preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret diverse data sets to solve a variety of business problems, predict behaviors, and identify causal relationships, trigger points, and predictions.
  • Apply a range of advanced statistical methods to quantify data variances and uses traditional modeling techniques to support decision-making.
  • Develop business cases and create complex models utilizing big data analytics tools for modeling and process integration, and to make recommendations for improvements to processes, financials, business models, etc.
  • Build and test predictive models on various data samples and verifies their accuracy in real-world scenarios.
  • Develop visualizations such as dashboards, reports and charts, and advise business partners on data patterns and relationships to recommend strategic directions.
  • Advise business partners with regard to patterns and relationships in data to recommend business direction or outcomes.
