About The Position

Salesforce is seeking a Lead Account Solution Engineer for its Public Sector business. This role involves collaborating with customers, account executives, product specialists, and partners to develop solutions that help customers connect with their constituents. The Solution Engineer will be a key player in the sales cycle, providing thought leadership, owning solutions, and translating business objectives into compelling recommendations. The role requires strong technical and sales skills to present product offerings, address objections, and inspire confidence in Salesforce's technology infrastructure. The Account Solution Engineer will act as a trusted advisor to customers, aiding in their transformational journey within a dynamic, results-oriented, and evolving environment.

Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science (B.S., Master's, or Ph.D)
  • 5+ years combined experience working with Salesforce and/or other CRM solutions
  • 3+ years of solution engineering, consultancy, delivery, or customer success for an enterprise software solution organization.
  • 2+ years working with Public Sector agencies
  • Salesforce, or other, certifications related to Artificial Intelligence, specifically generative AI and LLM concepts
  • Proven oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication and relationship skills.
  • Experience implementing Digital Transformation strategies, enterprise consulting and delivering increased success to their customers.
  • Proven time management skills in a dynamic team environment.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team to tackle problems in dynamic, energizing environments.
  • Inquisitive, practical, and passionate about technology and sharing knowledge.
  • Good at searching out information, experimenting, and tackling puzzles.
  • Good at explaining ideas and finding ways to keep people’s attention.
  • Willing and able to travel occasionally.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Platform App Builder) and consulting experience are strongly recommended

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead the entire solution cycle through close collaboration with other teams.
  • Understand the customer’s needs, and establish Salesforce’s product as the best solution that solves unique challenges.
  • Convey a deep understanding of the client’s industry and technology as it pertains to Salesforce’s solutions.
  • Develop and deliver innovative custom solutions, build and present customized demos of Salesforce products including solution concepts to key decision-makers to address their business issues and needs showing business value.
  • Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural training and certifications to acquire and maintain the knowledge vital to be effective in the position.
  • Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management.
  • Respond efficiently to RFPs.
  • Lead the technical side of the sales cycle.
  • Have a strong curiosity about growing your career and participating in our internal training programs and mentorship initiatives.
