About The Position
24-MAG LLC is offering a fully remote freelance consulting opportunity for experienced legal professionals to contribute legal expertise to advanced AI training and evaluation initiatives. The work focuses on contract review, legal research, regulatory compliance, legal drafting, and professional legal analysis. Consultants assess legal documents and AI-generated legal content for accuracy, clarity, completeness, practical relevance, and sound reasoning, then provide structured feedback and recommendations to improve the quality and reliability of AI systems. Prior experience with AI training projects is not required. Assignments may involve contractual provisions, legal research scenarios, regulatory requirements, compliance analyses, multi-jurisdictional legal interpretation, and AI-generated document evaluations. Deliverables may include written legal analyses, document reviews, research summaries, and structured recommendations. The work is project-focused and remote, with collaboration conducted asynchronously through written and verbal communication channels. Compensation is $60–$70 per hour, with five openings available.
Requirements
- Professional experience practising law or performing substantive legal work involving contracts, compliance, or related legal matters.
- Strong expertise in contract review, legal research, regulatory analysis, and legal writing.
- Ability to identify contractual risks, ambiguous provisions, and substantive drafting issues.
- Practical experience interpreting statutes, regulations, case law, and other relevant legal authorities.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance principles and professional legal standards.
- Ability to research and evaluate legal questions involving different jurisdictions.
- Experience drafting, editing, or reviewing contracts, legal memoranda, compliance documents, or other professional legal materials.
- Strong analytical reasoning, critical-thinking, issue-spotting, and legal problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to identify unsupported arguments, incomplete analyses, and inaccuracies in legal documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate, well-reasoned, professionally structured legal work.
- Ability to prepare detailed legal explanations, research summaries, or written recommendations.
- Ability to exercise independent professional judgment in complex legal scenarios.
- Comfort working independently and managing assignments in a remote, project-focused environment.

- Review contracts and other legal documents for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and completeness.
- Identify legal risks, ambiguous language, drafting weaknesses, and opportunities to improve contractual language and legal documents.

- Evaluate AI-generated contract analyses and proposed revisions for substantive accuracy and practical relevance.
- Conduct legal research involving statutes, regulations, case law, and other relevant legal authorities.
- Analyze legal questions and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions and legal contexts.
- Review legal interpretations for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with applicable law.
- Draft, edit, and evaluate legal documents, written analyses, and professional legal explanations.
- Identify missing information, unsupported conclusions, and weaknesses in legal arguments.
- Review AI-generated legal analyses, contractual interpretations, and regulatory compliance explanations for factual accuracy, completeness, relevance, and professional reasoning.
- Provide detailed corrections and structured feedback to improve AI-generated legal responses and training materials.
- Review legal research, documentation, and analytical outputs for accuracy and professional quality.
- Document legal findings, evaluation criteria, and recommended improvements clearly and precisely.
- Communicate complex legal concepts to legal professionals and non-legal technical collaborators.
- Support improvement of legal evaluation workflows, documentation standards, and project deliverables.
