About The Position
The Florida Bar's Lawyer Referral Service is seeking a Lawyer Referral Service Clerk to join our dedicated team in Tallahassee, FL. This role involves answering phones courteously and promptly, identifying the caller's issue, and referring them to an LRS panel attorney or another appropriate agency. This is a part-time, hourly position with no benefits.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish.
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience or related work experience.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Proven ability to work in a highly structured environment which seldom varies and is performed in accordance to established instructions.
- Data entry and other computer-related skills.
- Computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent telephone skills.
- Ability to articulate clearly and listen effectively.
Nice To Haves
- Associate's degree.
- Knowledge of some areas of law helpful.
Responsibilities
