About The Position
Horizon Landscape is hiring a Lawn Maintenance Foreman for a full-time field leadership position. The Foreman leads a crew through daily service routes and enhancement work, operates industry-standard equipment, and ensures properties meet company quality and safety standards. Services include mowing, mulching, topsoil, sod, planting, hedge trimming, and flower installations. The role also involves communicating with crew members and supervisors throughout the day. Foremen with broader skills and interest may be considered for roles in the Irrigation or Turf Care departments.
Requirements
- Solid field experience in the green industry.
- Good knowledge of lawn maintenance services and equipment.
- Experience leading a crew, including responsibility for leading people rather than only working alongside them.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Dependability, professionalism, and a positive attitude while working in varying outdoor conditions.

- Broader skills and interest that may qualify the Foreman for consideration in Horizon Landscape’s Irrigation or Turf Care departments.
Responsibilities
- Lead a lawn maintenance crew through daily service routes and enhancement work.
- Perform lawn maintenance and enhancement services, including mowing, mulching, topsoil, sod, planting, hedge trimming, and flower installations.
- Operate and maintain ride-on mowers, string trimmers, backpack blowers, hedge trimmers, and hand tools.
- Ensure each property is completed in accordance with company quality and safety standards.
- Communicate clearly with crew members and supervisors throughout the day.
