About The Position
Landscaping by J. Michael is seeking motivated, hardworking individuals to join its Lawn Maintenance team. The company provides landscaping services to commercial and residential clients across the South Shore of Massachusetts and has more than 40 years of experience. Crew members help maintain clients’ properties by completing lawn and bed-care work, documenting completed jobs, maintaining equipment, and working safely and efficiently with their crew.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in lawn maintenance or similar outdoor work.
- Experience using commercial mowers, aerators, de-thatchers, string trimmers, and related equipment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Health Card.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and follow direction.
Responsibilities
- Maintain weekly mowing, edging, and trimming routes for commercial and residential accounts.
- Perform weeding, pruning, and general bed maintenance.
- Accurately record completed work using a tablet or digital system.
- Assist with routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment and tools.
- Work closely with the crew to complete jobs safely and efficiently.
