Omaha - Lawn Care Technician / Specialist
About The Position
Naturescape of Omaha, NE is seeking to hire a Lawn Care Specialist to provide our customers with outstanding services for their residential and commercial properties. This role involves managing a route and transforming landscapes, performing precision lawn care, lawn aeration, mowing, tree/shrub care and pruning, and mosquito control. As the face of the company in the field, you will also act as a consultant and problem-solver, explaining services and assessing landscape needs. Adaptability is key, as the role pivots to snow removal in the winter. This is a licensed specialist position requiring state pesticide certifications. The company emphasizes a 'learning by doing' approach and invests in employee development.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Motivated with a desire to learn
- Willingness to obtain state pesticide certifications
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a general laborer, construction worker, landscaper, groundskeeper, or lawn mower.
Responsibilities
- Manage a route and transform landscapes across the service area.
- Complete precision lawn care, lawn aeration, mowing, tree/shrub care and pruning, and mosquito control.
- Act as the face of the company in the field, serving as a consultant and problem-solver.
- Assess lawn health and landscape needs.
- Communicate clearly and kindly with clients.
- Perform snow removal during winter months.
- Obtain and maintain state pesticide certifications.
