About The Position

The Lawn and Plant Healthcare Manager is responsible for monitoring the health of all plants and greenscapes, watering and feeding plants, and fertilizing lawns. This role requires knowledge of using and maintaining landscaping equipment, including fertilizing and spraying equipment, while adhering to health and safety regulations. Requirements

  • Proficient in identification of lawn, plants, insects, and disease.
  • Knowledge of navigating the internet.
  • Proficiency in Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of estimating software and job costing software.
  • Working knowledge of use and maintenance for lawn fertilizing equipment and sprayers.
  • Natural leader and problem solver with a demonstrated sound work ethic.
  • Confident and professional at all times.
  • Experience with collaboration and critical thinking exercises.
  • Demonstrated time management and dexterity.
  • Comfortable processing terminations and providing technical assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of crews or technicians.
  • Ensure all crews have the necessary equipment and materials for daily jobs.
  • Ensure all crews understand their daily tasks.
  • Keep crews on budget and informed of changes.
  • Communicate schedule changes internally as quickly as possible.
  • Contact Client Representatives prior to jobs to clarify questions.
  • Schedule site walkthroughs if necessary.
  • Update Client Representatives on job status and any issues.
  • Respond to Client Reps on bid review requests within 24 hours.
  • Review proposals remotely using Microsoft Teams, email, and phone.
  • Set meetings for face-to-face discussions when needed.
  • Estimate unfamiliar tasks using available resources.
  • Utilize subcontractors for estimates outside of crew scope.
