About The Position

The Lawn & Plant Health Care Specialist will diagnose, monitor, and treat insects, diseases, weeds, and cultural problems. You will recommend solutions to issues and offer improvements to optimize the performance of our client’s landscapes. Requirements

Ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
Stand and walk throughout a minimum 8-hour shift
Lift and move heavy items, up to 50 pounds
Regularly bend, lift, stretch, twist and reach below the waist and above the head
Climb in and out of trucks, equipment, and trailers numerous times per day
Work in all weather conditions and seasons
Drive a vehicle to and from worksites to work with assigned teams

Responsibilities

Perform chemical and fertilizer applications on assigned properties
Monitor landscape health and care needs
Diagnose primary turf problems and basic pest identification
Maintain proper documentation as required by The Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services
Take a proactive approach to safety by attending all field safety trainings and utilizing proper safety equipment
Communicate effectively to Account Managers or directly with clients about issues/opportunities
Various administrative needs, including timesheets, work tickets, safety protocols, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned
