About The Position
The Lawn & Plant Health Care Technician assists in implementing Glengate’s Regular and Organic Lawn and Plant Health Care programs on high-end residential properties. This role focuses on diagnosing turf and landscape plant issues, applying treatments safely and accurately, and communicating effectively with property care managers.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of field experience and/or background in organic property management
- Connecticut Pesticide Applicator License (or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment)
- New York Pesticide Applicator License (or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment)
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
- Implement lawn and plant health care programs on high-end residential properties in lower Fairfield County, CT and Westchester County, NY
- Inspect turf and landscape plantings to diagnose insect, disease, and cultural issues
- Apply treatments according to contracted programs and best practices
- Communicate verbally with Property Care Managers
- Accurately document application details using Glengate’s internal software system
