Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy government transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and interact with travelers, visitors, and staff. Requirements

• 2+ years of professional law enforcement experience in the U.S. after graduating from a certified law enforcement academy (Federal, State, or County level)
• Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent (must provide credentials upon applying)
• Valid Driver's License
• Law Enforcement Officer License
• 22+ years of age
• Applicant must complete one of the following approved programs: 1. Certified State law enforcement recruit training. 2. Certified County law enforcement recruit training. 3. Federal law enforcement training. 4. Programs approved by the Director.
• No felony convictions or convictions for abuse of a household member under Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968 (18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(9)) or documented truthfulness infractions in violation of Giglio/Henthorn for federal impeachment proceedings (referring to the decisions in Giglio v. United States, 405 U.S. 105 (1972) and United States v. Henthorn, 931 F. 2d 29 (9th Cir. 1991)).
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions.
• Must be able to supervise Contractor’s personnel and work effectively with airport management, tenants, other law enforcement agencies and the public on matters relating to security disputes, complaints on the performance, conduct or behavior of subordinate employees.
• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess a peace officer certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

• Courtesy in inter-person relationships with the public, airport employees, tenants, law enforcement and security personnel.
• LEOs may be required to provide a court appearance for citations that are issued on behalf of DOTA. Contractor shall provide replacement staffing for LEOs that are required to attend a court proceeding.
• Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in an airport location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while maintaining an armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable regulations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, roadways, parking areas, restricted zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and credentialed areas, verify identification and/or permissions as required, and report unusual conditions, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, daily activities, and observations in detailed reports, and communicate with site contacts, public agencies, and/or first responders during routine operations and emergency situations.
