Requirements

2+ years of professional law enforcement experience in the U.S. after graduating from a certified law enforcement academy (Federal, State, or County level)
Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent (must provide credentials upon applying)
Valid Driver's License
Law Enforcement Officer License
22+ years of age
Applicant must complete one of the following approved programs: 1. Certified State law enforcement recruit training. 2. Certified County law enforcement recruit training. 3. Federal law enforcement training. 4. Programs approved by the Director.
No felony convictions or convictions for abuse of a household member under Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968 (18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(9)) or documented truthfulness infractions in violation of Giglio/Henthorn for federal impeachment proceedings (referring to the decisions in Giglio v. United States, 405 U.S. 105 (1972) and United States v. Henthorn, 931 F. 2d 29 (9th Cir. 1991)).
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions.
Must be able to supervise Contractor’s personnel and work effectively with airport management, tenants, other law enforcement agencies and the public on matters relating to security disputes, complaints on the performance, conduct or behavior of subordinate employees.
Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
Possess an armed guard card/license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Courtesy in inter-person relationships with the public, airport employees, tenants, law enforcement and security personnel.
LEOs may be required to provide a court appearance for citations that are issued on behalf of DOTA. Contractor shall provide replacement staffing for LEOs that are required to attend a court proceeding.
Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence and coordination with local authorities and/or first responders.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, restricted areas, parking locations, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and report suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points, credentialed areas, and sensitive locations, helping to confirm that only authorized individuals enter designated spaces and reporting irregularities according to site protocols.
Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, patrol activity, and observed conditions, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, client representatives, and/or responding agencies as needed.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
