About The Position

The Law Clerk supports the Legal function in managing legal and regulatory matters related to KFC’s franchise operations across Canada. This role ensures compliance with franchise laws, assists in the preparation and review of franchise disclosures, franchise agreements and related documents, and provides administrative support. The Law Clerk plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of the franchise system and supporting the growth and development of the KFC brand through sound legal practices.

Requirements

Paralegal or Law Clerk diploma or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal environment, preferably in franchise law or corporate law.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with franchise disclosure documents.
Knowledge of Canadian franchise legislation.
Experience in the food service or retail industry.
