Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid (MMLA) is seeking a law student intern for a full academic year clerkship with its Tax Unit. A fall-semester-only option is also available. This is an unpaid clerkship, and MMLA does not provide compensation. Students are encouraged to coordinate fellowship, grant, or academic credit arrangements through their schools. The position is hybrid, with most work conducted remotely using MMLA-issued equipment. In-person work will occur at the downtown Minneapolis office and potentially at community partner locations. This role offers students practical experience and the chance to contribute to their communities. MMLA provides robust training and learning opportunities, valuing diversity, equity, and inclusion. The organization is committed to advancing racial justice and fostering a respectful, supportive workplace.
