About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a part-time Laundry Worker for morning shifts at a long-term care facility. The role helps maintain the cleanliness and availability of linens and garments by collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing laundry. The worker operates laundry equipment, follows infection-control and universal-precautions policies, maintains activity records, and reports maintenance or safety issues. The position also involves providing positive customer service to residents, staff, and guests and completing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds; stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Work around cleaning products.
• Follow oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities
