About The Position

The Laundry Technician will be responsible for washing, folding, bagging and delivering clean garments to their correct areas. This role involves performing repetitive tasks, maintaining a clean work area, and adhering to all company procedures and policies. The technician will also be responsible for distributing clean laundry back to buildings and removing soiled bags.

Requirements

No education requirement
6 months to 1-year experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds

Nice To Haves

May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
Completed all safety and task training certification.
May be required to be forklift certified.

Responsibilities

Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
Stop at risk behavior of others and self
Perform work assignments individually or in a team with other employees as required
Perform repetitive tasks
Maintain clean work area and remove soiled bags from assigned work areas
Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules
Take direction and respond to supervision
Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customer in a professional manner
Fill in during staff shortage
Wash, fold, bag and deliver clean garments to assigned warehouses
Removal and return of soiled bags for assigned work areas
Other duties as assigned
Washing the laundry from all sites twice a week
Distribute clean laundry back to the buildings
