About The Position
Sidney Health Center is seeking a Laundry Technician to join our I CARE team in the Laundry setting. Essential duties of the position include sorting and folding linens and maintaining a clean and organized laundry area. Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment according to safety and operational guidelines. If you enjoy serving others through purposeful work, Sidney Health Center is the place for you. The Laundry team is critical to the health, hygiene and comfort of the hospital. Requirements
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and techniques preferred
- High School Diploma preferred but not required
