About The Position

The Laundry Technician will be responsible for washing, folding, bagging and delivering clean garments to their correct areas. This role involves performing essential duties related to laundry operations, ensuring clean garments are processed and delivered efficiently. The position requires adherence to safety protocols and company procedures, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Occasional driving to various work locations may be necessary.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
6 months to 1-year experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A valid driver's license may be required for this position based on business needs.
Employees required to drive as part of their job duties must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and meet company driving eligibility requirements
Completed all safety and task training certification.
May be required to be forklift certified.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
Stop at risk behavior of others and self
Perform work assignments individually or in a team with other employees as required
Perform repetitive tasks
Maintain clean work area and remove soiled bags from assigned work areas
Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules
Take direction and respond to supervision
Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customer in a professional manner
Fill in during staff shortage
Wash, fold, bag and deliver clean garments to assigned warehouses
Removal and return of soiled bags for assigned work areas
The ability to drive to various work locations, customer sites, or company facilities may be necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.
