About The Position

As a Laundry Supervisor, you would be responsible for supervising laundry to ensure a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Lead, train and supervise Laundry team members to ensure a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel Perform all stages of linen processing including, but not limited to, sorting, loading and unloading, pressing, folding, storing and cleaning laundry equipment and the laundry area, as needed Assign work including, but not limited to, assigning machinery, equipment and scheduled work areas Monitor linen quality, inventory, damaged linen, rewashing and repairs in a timely manner Conduct routine inspections of machinery, troubleshoot minor issues, and coordinate major repairs with the maintenance department Must be capable of standing for long periods, bending, and lifting heavy loads. Oversee the ordering of chemicals, detergents for washers Ensure cleaning chemicals and supplies are stored, dispensed, and disposed of according to safety codes. Responsibilities
