About The Position

The Jefferson Hotel is seeking a meticulous and service-driven Laundry Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the hotel’s laundry facility. This role is integral to maintaining the exceptional standards of presentation and quality synonymous with a luxury experience. The Laundry Supervisor will lead by example, combining hands-on execution with thoughtful leadership to ensure all linens, uniforms, and textiles are processed with precision, care, and efficiency.

Requirements

Minimum of 2–3 years of laundry experience in a hotel, resort, or similar environment required
Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate a team in a service-driven environment
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and safely operate industrial laundry equipment
Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
Proven experience in commercial laundry operations required
Ability to perform in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
Basic computer proficiency in tracking and reporting

Nice To Haves

Supervisory experience within hospitality or healthcare environments preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities

Direct daily workflow and ensure appropriate staffing levels across all shifts
Inspect linens to ensure they meet the hotel’s quality and presentation standards
Operate and oversee commercial laundry equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency
Maintain accurate records of linen inventory, supply usage, and equipment maintenance
Manage inventory levels and ordering of supplies to support uninterrupted operations
Provide training and ongoing development to team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
Uphold all safety, sanitation, and operational standards
Support operations during peak periods through hands-on involvement as needed
