Requirements

Proven experience in laundry operations or supervisory roles within hospitality or similar industries
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to operate and maintain laundry machinery effectively
Excellent leadership and team management abilities
Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations related to laundry operations
Must be able to clearly convey information and ideas.
Must be able to evaluate and choose among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.

Responsibilities

Supervise all stages of linen processing, including collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading, and unloading washers, dryers, and chutes
Oversee ironing, folding, storing, and delivering linens to ensure timely and accurate service
Monitor and maintain laundry machinery, including cleaning and routine maintenance
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to promote safety and efficiency
Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to meet linen supply needs
Train and supervise laundry staff to uphold quality standards and safety procedures
Maintain inventory levels of laundry supplies and equipment
Implement and enforce safety and sanitation standards in the laundry area
