Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous laundry or cleaning experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to operate laundry equipment and follow safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to follow directions
- Basic communication skills to understand instructions and safety information
Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily laundry operations, including sorting, loading, washing, drying, folding, and storing linens and terry items
- Operates commercial washers, dryers, and flatwork ironers
- Sorts, feeds, and pulls linens; folds, stacks, and bundles items as needed
- Loads and unloads linen carts and distributes items to designated storage areas
- Maintains linen inventory, including item counts and associated recordkeeping
- Inspects laundry items for cleanliness, damage, and quality standards
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
- Follows all safety procedures and properly uses equipment associated with the role
- Provides excellent internal service to support hotel and casino operations
- Works efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Performs physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 100 pounds
