About The Position

The Laundry Mechanic Apprentice helps maintain the efficient and reliable operation of hotel laundry equipment and machinery. The role performs preventive and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs; responds to team member work orders; documents completed maintenance and issues requiring further attention; and assists with monitoring supplies of parts and materials needed for repairs and maintenance. Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on laundry equipment and machinery.
• Respond promptly to team member work orders by repairing equipment and machinery as needed.
• Record completed repairs and flag issues that require further attention.
• Assist with monitoring supplies of parts and materials to ensure necessary repair and maintenance items are available.
