About The Position

The Laundry Attendant position at Hampton Inn Ogallala involves sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens, towels, cleaning rags, and uniforms. This role requires operating and maintaining commercial laundry machines safely, inspecting items for stains or damage, and applying appropriate detergents and stain treatments. The attendant is responsible for keeping the laundry area clean, organized, and stocked, tracking inventory, and following all safety and hygiene standards. This is a full-time position with flexible shifts available, approximately 35-40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, cleaning rags and uniforms
Operate and maintain commercial laundry machines safely
Inspect items for stains, damage, or needed repairs
Apply appropriate detergents, chemicals, and stain treatments
Keep laundry area clean, organized, and stocked with supplies, ensure equipment is cleaned daily
Track and manage inventory of linens and laundry items
Follow safety, hygiene, and hotel/brand standards
Deliver clean laundry to designated areas or departments
Work as part of a supportive team to keep the hotel running smoothly
Other duties as assigned.
