About The Position

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens, towels, cleaning rags, and uniforms. This role involves operating and maintaining commercial laundry machines, inspecting items for damage, applying stain treatments, and maintaining a clean and organized laundry area. The attendant will also track inventory, follow safety and hygiene standards, and deliver clean laundry to designated areas. This is a part-time position with flexible shifts, offering approximately 25 hours per week.

Requirements

  • No experience needed – we will train you!
  • Reliable and detail-oriented
  • Able to stay active (walking, bending, lifting)
  • Friendly attitude and team mindset
  • Weekend availability is a plus
  • HS Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, cleaning rags and uniforms
  • Operate and maintain commercial laundry machines safely
  • Inspect items for stains, damage, or needed repairs
  • Apply appropriate detergents, chemicals, and stain treatments
  • Keep laundry area clean, organized, and stocked with supplies, ensure equipment is cleaned daily
  • Track and manage inventory of linens and laundry items
  • Follow safety, hygiene, and hotel/brand standards
  • Deliver clean laundry to designated areas or departments
  • Work as part of a supportive team to keep the hotel running smoothly
  • Other duties as assigned
