About The Position

Hotel Operis, Autograph Collection, is a luxury boutique hotel in Charleston’s historic district, with 50 rooms and suites, a rooftop restaurant and terrace, a wine-blending experience, and an on-site art gallery. The hotel is part of a hospitality environment focused on creating memorable guest experiences.

The Laundry Attendant processes hotel laundry and maintains an adequate supply of clean linens for the hotel’s needs. The role operates in a fast-paced environment that can involve high heat and requires handling heavy loads.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other team members.
• Ability to pull and push heavy loads.
• Ability to work in a high-heat environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous hotel laundry or housekeeping experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an adequate number of turns of linens to meet the hotel’s needs.
• Operate washing and drying machines according to proper procedures.
• Fold, stack, and store linen in compliance with hotel standards.
• Process damaged linen for discard according to hotel standards.
